Welcome.
I am a somatic practitioner and educator based in Oxford, UK.
I have been in clinical practice, working with patients since 2009. I have been teaching in different capacities since 2017. In 2023 I co-founded The School for Ethical Touch.
During this time, I have witnessed the body as a responsive, adaptive and incredibly intelligent system that provides us with information and feedback about how it experiences our real world experience - work, relationships, community, the goings on in the wider world and what it needs to heal.
As relational creatures, I believe that when another human is by our side we can be supported in a process of healing, change, and repair in profound ways.
Mainstream healthcare paradigms focus on identifying pathology, or what is ‘wrong’. Pathology is often understood, discussed and treated as an individual system failure.
I see health as intricately woven in with and related to the state of the earth, the state of our ecosystems, social systems, political systems, attachment and relationships.
The relationship(s) we come to, to heal, recover and find health within are just as significant as the modality we choose to work with.
Please get in touch if you want to find out more or to explore working together. I send email letters out occasionally with dates about upcoming events / workshops / clinic info, you can sign up for those here.
